VitalertKit™ Plus Combo Annual Refill

This is a complete replenishment kit for your VitalertKit™. It contains all of the medications and supplies in your kit, as well as a disposal envelope to properly dispose of your expired medications. It is generally recomended to purchase a VitalertKit refill on an annual basis to ensure compliance. This is a medication refill for existing VitalertKit's, it does not include the emergency case. 

• 1 Albuterol Inhaler
  Albuterol is a bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways and increases air flow to the lungs during an asthmatic attack.
• 2 Ammonia Inhalant Towelettes: .7g Pouch
  Ammonia Inhalants (or smelling salts) are used for stimulating consciousness. It can be used to help arouse consciousness for an unconscious or semi-conscious victim or to restore mental alertness during competition.
• 36 Aspirin Chewable Tablets: 81mg (bottle)
  Aspirin chewable tablets are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by inhibiting several different chemical processes within the body that cause pain, inflammation, and fever. It also reduces the tendency for blood to clot.
• 2 Diphenhydramine: 50mg/ml 1ml SDV
  Diphenhydramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body to treat non-life-threatening allergic reactions such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other allergy symptoms. It is administered by intramuscular injection, an oral tablet, oral liquid, or powder.
• 2 Epinephrine Auto-Injectors: Auvi-Q® .15mg Child and .3mg Adult
  Epinephrine is the drug of choice in the emergency treatment of severe acute anaphylactic reactions, including anaphylactic shock, which can be profound and life-threatening. For bi-phasic anaphylactic reactions it is recommended to keep injectable epinephrine on hand. This is supplied in pre-filled auto-injectors in Adult or Pediatric doses.

• 2 Epinephrine Ampules: 1mg/1ml

  Glucose gel is a monosaccharide (simple sugar) that works by quickly raising the glucose levels in the blood during blood-sugar related emergencies in diabetic or hypoglycemic patients.

  Naloxone Hydrochloride Injection is indicated for the complete or partial reversal of opioid depression, including respiratory depression, induced by natural and synthetic opioids.
• 25 Nitroglycerin Tablets: .4mg (bottle)
  Nitroglycerin dilates (widens) blood vessels, making it easier for blood to flow through them and easier for the heart to pump. Nitroglycerin is used to treat or prevent attacks of chest pain (angina).
• 1 Luer Slip EpiRite Syringe 
  We provide you with a Dynarex EpiRite Syringe to administer the Epinephrine. Easy to read markings - 0.1 mL, 0.15 mL, and 0.3 mL, Allows for fast and easy dosing. Syringe provided empty.
