The PuraFill® Bone Plug offers a simple and effective solution for filling extraction sockets and periodontal defects. Made from a synthetic calcium phosphate-based mineral with a carbonate apatite structure that is similar to natural bone, PuraFill combines approximately 80% graft particulate with 20% Type I bovine collagen. Once hydrated, it adapts to the shape of the defect site.

EXPANDS TO FILL SOCKET SITE WHEN HYDRATED:

PuraFill can be placed pre-hydrated or dry, depending on clinician preference. It stabilizes within the grafting site, helping to contain the graft material and support clot retention for healing. 

Once hydrated, PuraFill adapts to the shape of the defect, filling the socket. The collagen acts to minimize migration of granules.

THE EASY WAY TO FILL AND PRESERVE:

PuraFill is indicated for socket preservation, ridge augmentations and sinus lifts. It does not require a barrier membrane and its collagen component helps bind bone graft particles, reducing the risk of particle loss into the oral cavity.
